Sussex Flood Rescue is a developing flood rescue team, made up entirely by volunteers based in Sussex. We are a team made up of 12 qualified Swift Water Rescue Technicians and are currently establishing our support team.
After the recent flooding events throughout the United Kingdom, a need for more flood rescue teams has been identified.
When a major flood events occur our team may be asked to respond alongside other emergency services to anywhere across the United Kingdom.
We are a Non-Profit Organisation and will be continually fundraising for the training of team members and for the necessary equipment needed for flood rescue. Affiliated to Surf Lifesaving GB.
