On Saturday 2nd July, Seaford Lifeguards were involved in a rescue and resuscitation of a gentleman near the Buckle car park.

On the 8th June 2011 at approx 18:00 a rescue of two men who were tombstoning off splash point occurred. A lot of emergency service resources were dispatched to this incident including two rescue helicopters, Newhaven lifeboat, Newhaven and Birling Gap coastguard and a number of Ambulance medics. An off duty member of Seaford Lifeguards also assisted in the rescue efforts and resuscitation of one of the males.
